I'm gonna Wrap Him in Plastic!!

Have you changed the sheets on a bunk bed lately? How about a bunk bed which is so "safety" savvy the top bunk is surrounded by high rails? I have decided I am going to wrap Fash in plastic wrap, until he is 12! Then he can make his own stinking bed. (I am sure he could pull up the comforter now, but I will have him trained to make it to my liking by the time he is 12.) This way he will never really touch the sheets.....so I will never really need to change them, it will be pleasant for everyone all around I am sure..........so, if you will excuse me......I have to go take another shower, because my sweat band didn't hold up this time while changing the sheets, while a-top the bed, all the while trying not to hit my head on the ceiling, or get my hands caught in the rail..............maybe I should just go back to bed.

I can totally relate. I hate changing the sheets on a bunkbed.

Plastic wrap would work.... or maybe just make him sleep in a sleeping bag;)

I've been thinking about bunk beds. I have all the kids in different rooms now, but have thought about doing a playroom (toys, tv, xbox, etc) and then put the boys together... maybe I should think again??? :)

After you select your chosen music on the site...and there should be a button...when I get a second..I will go look.

Chel, it is under the playlist, after you choose your music....lower right....check again, you will find it.

Bunk beds are great except when it comes to changing the sheets. I always feel like a big oafe when I'm on the top trying to hop, pull and tuck all at the same time. Nice mental picture!

Been there. Done that.

They better pick nice nursing homes for us after all we have been through.

My neighbor's son just fell out of his rail-less bunkbed that is 8 ft. high and broke his shoulder. I'm trying to imagine changing those sheets (as well as how one would sleep at night knowing their kid was 8 ft. off the ground).

I hate changing bunk bed sheets too. Not only do I have to change them, but for some reason the boys that sleep on the top bunks (we have two sets of twin sized bunk beds, and one toddler sized bunk bed) tend to thrash around enough to pull the sheets off. So not only do I have to change them, but they need to be put back on regularly too.

Thank you for the good mail by the way. I just found out that you had a blog other than the story one. I enjoyed getting your package in the mail.

I don't have the safety boards on mine and they still drive me nuts!

Thanks for the good mail!

I took our bunk beds down. There is less room, but the girls love having their own wall to decorate.

Thank you Angel for the Good mail! My girls loved the folding paper...you rock!

The nice thing about our bunk beds is.....Fash gets to choose which one to sleep in, he is the only one in the room.....the bummer is....he ALWAYS chooses the top!
